Happy Fabulous February!

Science City is taking off at a slow pace.  We are hoping February will be more productive.  Thank you for all the materials you have sent in for our project.  At this time we have plenty.

FCAT practice books for Reading, Math, and Science were sent home on Friday.  Please go over them and review with your child the questions and answers.  Discuss with them about what to expect during the FCAT.  Fifth grade is a Science FCAT year.  The Science test includes much reading and some math included in this test.  Please practice with your students using past FCAT tests that are on the fldoe.edu website.  They are excellent for getting prepared for the way the questions are formed.

Many opportunities have been given to you to keep track of your grades (or your childs grades) on engrade.com.  If you need another instruction sheet as to how to get on engrade please just ask. 

ThinkCentral.com, FCATExplorer.com, brainpop.com, and many other sites that are beneficial to your childs success in school.  I hope that you take advantage of these sites and I will help you through them if you ask.
